I'm an internet junkie that is obsessed with books. I own more than I will ever read in this lifetime and yet I'm still compelled
to buy more. I read mostly romance (mild to completely smutty), YA and urban fantasy.
The governor finally makes an appearance. I have to say I absolutely despised the story arc involving the governor on the TV show. I hated him, I hated Woodbury and all those episodes that didn't show the main group were downright infuriating.
The story works much better in the graphic novel. For one thing the governor is flat-out evil from the start. He never pretends he's a nice guy and we find out all his creepy quirks right away. The graphic novel doesn't try to humanize him and I'm so happy about that. Then I can just hate him and don't have to sit through hours of his melodrama.
