I'm an internet junkie that is obsessed with books. I own more than I will ever read in this lifetime and yet I'm still compelled
to buy more. I read mostly romance (mild to completely smutty), YA and urban fantasy.
I read romance. I dabble in urban fantasy, occasional mysteries and even a non-fiction book once in awhile, but the vast majority of my reading is romance. So when I had to come up with a book that had cross genre appeal, I was stumped. After much thought, I came up with two books that might work.
The Memoirs of Cleopatra is perhaps the longest book I've ever read. It's also one that sticks with me even now (years after I read it.) I think this book would probably appeal predominantly to historical fiction lovers, but as a romance reader I really enjoyed it as well.
My next pick is The Hunger Games which seems to appeal to so many different people regardless of what genres they usually read. It's universally well liked by my RL friends and family.
