I'm an internet junkie that is obsessed with books. I own more than I will ever read in this lifetime and yet I'm still compelled
to buy more. I read mostly romance (mild to completely smutty), YA and urban fantasy.
Animal Magnetism (Animal Magnetism Series #1)
This book was a good light and fluffy read. I'm a fan of Jill Shalvis and have really adored some of the other books I've read by her, but this one isn't one of my favorites.
The characters were likable, there were some humorous moments and I loved all the animals. One thing I love about Jill Shalvis is that her characters always come off sounding like real people and that was definitely the case here. There was some wonderful dialogue between Brady and Lilah.
Despite all that I never felt overly invested in the story and I could've used a bit more substance, which is why it gets 3 stars. I did really like Dell and Adam and look forward to reading their books.
