Tackling Mt. TBR

I'm an internet junkie that is obsessed with books. I own more than I will ever read in this lifetime and yet I'm still compelled
to buy more. I read mostly romance (mild to completely smutty), YA and urban fantasy.

The Bridesmaid [Review]

The Bridesmaid - Julia London

This is such an adorable little novella. The characters are extremely likable and they felt like real people. I wish I could hang out with them. I also love that they genuinely liked each other. Nobody denied their feelings or any of that typical drama, it was just two people that met by chance and realized they had an amazing connection.

Normally I find it hard to believe that a couple could know after such a short time that they love each other, but kudos to the author, because I totally believed it here. The story was smart, funny and entertaining.

The only little thing that made it four stars instead of five was the lack of condoms. I know some people don't care or say that it takes away from the "sexy" factor, but if I'm reading a contemporary romance where there isn't even the briefest mention of condoms I get a bit antsy. This probably isn't a problem for everyone though.

I really enjoyed this novella.
