Tackling Mt. TBR

I'm an internet junkie that is obsessed with books. I own more than I will ever read in this lifetime and yet I'm still compelled
to buy more. I read mostly romance (mild to completely smutty), YA and urban fantasy.

Wanderlove [Review]

Wanderlove - Kirsten Hubbard

I LOVED this book! You know how sometimes you find a book that is so exactly the type of book you want to read? That was my experience with this book.

First off, this book had a lot going for it from the beginning. Because I love travel/road trip books. Before now most of the books I've read that feature travel have been set in Europe or the US. So when I saw this book listed on a YA road trip list, I was immediately drawn to the fact it takes place in Central America and involved backpacking. My first thought: MUST BUY!

I think the author did an amazing job of transporting me to all the places that are visited in the book. She even made me think backpacking would be fun (and trust me when I say, I'm NOT the backpacking type.)

I enjoyed all the characters. They were flawed and they had some of that typical teen stuff going on (so if you don't like YA because of all the teenagers, this is probably not for you.) I enjoy books like this because there is the possibility of so much character growth and I was not disappointed. Both Bria and Rowan grow so much on the trip and both learns things from each other which is exactly how I like YA books to go.

The ending was perfect.

Overall, loved it. So glad I picked it up.

I'm using this book for R in my A to Z reading challenge.
