Tackling Mt. TBR
I'm an internet junkie that is obsessed with books. I own more than I will ever read in this lifetime and yet I'm still compelled
to buy more. I read mostly romance (mild to completely smutty), YA and urban fantasy.
Flesh - DNF
One of my resolutions this year was that I would try and be okay with DNFing books that were obviously not going to work for me. So, with that in mind, this one goes to the DNF pile.
I didn't like Daniel at all. He comes face to face with a woman that is terrified and holding a shotgun in his face and he acts like an ass and starts thinking of her as "his girl." WTF! I know it's a zombie apocalypse, but unless you are a zombie this kind of brainless behavior is just annoying. And even though we are told he's 41 years old, he acted more like a horny teenager... not cool.
I liked Ali at first, but then she ends up trapped in a house with zombies surrounding it with a stranger that refuses to let her bathe by herself and all she can think about is how hot he is... just... sorry, this is so not for me.
